A Growth Story of the German Mittelstand

In 2006, Holger Lepold founded SPRiNTUS GmbH after working as a development manager in major companies. The business started as a one-man operation with the goal of developing more powerful vacuum cleaners for commercial customers. Thanks to innovative technology and a strong understanding of customer needs, SPRiNTUS grew rapidly, employing 70 people and generating 25 million euros in revenue by 2022.

To continue the strong growth and prepare for business succession, Lepold sought an M&A advisor and found CARL, who supported him along with Deutsche Mittelstandsfinanz GmbH. Kapital 1852, a subsidiary of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG, was selected as the new partner and investor. This transaction aims to expand the Welzheim location and drive international growth, while Lepold will remain with the company as CEO and, in the long term, as a shareholder and advisor.
